The history of the Primo Ostuni Hotel, today a modern and comfortable hotel in the heart of Ostuni, the city white, has its roots in the last century and is deeply linked to the territory and tradition. At the end of the 1950s, Corso Mazzini, also called "Via Napoli", represented the walking and commercial life of the Ostuni people and, where our 4-star hotel stands today, there was the Hotel Orchidea Nera, the then first hotel of Ostuni. Hence the desire to honor a great achievement for the white town. Keeping the memory alive are the cobblestones that still pave the so-called Via Napoli, witnesses of the first roars of engines of the few cars still in circulation. During one of the first inspections, ancient Venetian style cabinets were found containing memories dormant in the oblivion of time and an old grand piano, witness to the first dance parties, of wedding ceremonies and city events held in the large hall that welcomed the people of Ostuni of the time. Our philosophy finds its foundations in the values of welcoming guests and not customers, always done with passion and dedication. The 31 large and elegant rooms have been finely restored and some of them enjoy a view breathtaking view of the nearby historic centre, the Adriatic Sea and the olive grove plain.
